We have started our trip to the Northern Territory. On the plane trip the pilot dipped the wings so we could see the Three Sisters. As we were flying the land started as a green colour and eventually became more and more red as we got closer and closer to Alice Springs.

Alice Springs is very different from Sydney. The airport is so different from Sydney, you have to go down stairs to get off the plane and to the terminal. As soon as we got off the plane it was hot and we had to take our jumpers off straight away.


We had a quick trip from the airport to the hotel. We dropped our bags off and went exploring. Alice Springs is a small town and there is not as much people like Sydney.



We went to the Alice Springs Reptile Centre in the afternoon. Dad thought it was a good place to check out the animals we need to avoid for the next 3 weeks. It was really awesome, there was one Goanna that was sitting outside its cage called Ruby and we patted her on the back. There was lots of snakes and lizards (parent note: this is quite a small centre. However there are a lot of reptiles in this small zoo).





We spent the rest of the afternoon at the hotel and chilling by the pool. The spa was hot but awesome.
