Yay we're in Madrid. Flights were fine...lots of people, screaming kids, luggage everywhere. The last hour flying was hard. Just wanted to go for a walk and stretch my legs. Felt so good to get here. Very arid around Madrid , cloudy and windy. Umbrella stand at restaurant almost blew down and knocked over my beer. Had small dinner, wandered around and decided to get some rest. We're right by Madrid's Main Square & across from beautiful park. There was some big protest going on but it's over now and we weren't sure what it was all about. Too tired to care right now.
Good night sleep will do wonders. Madrid tour tomorrow.
