We've started to see lots of very red termite mounds, or mountains as Declan describes them, but they are all still less than a metre high. Cloncurry boasts of recording Australia's hottest temperature, so it was no surprise to find it was very warm and dusty at Cloncurry, despite the water cart constantly watering the unpaved roads around the caravan park.We must have been getting a bit fatigued as we decided not to visit the Flying Doctor Museum, nor to watch the Cloncurry rodeo, but rather just had a swim in the pool.
