After leaving Tenterfield just before eight, we stopped at Glen Morgan for lunch outside a vintage car museum. It looked worth visiting but our schedule didn't give us time to explore - maybe next time.Surat was on our schedule with a visit to the Cobb & Co Changing Station. The complex also houses an art gallery, library and aquarium containing all the fish to be found in the local waterways.
We stayed at a great little caravan park with mostly gravel drive through sites. We managed to get a grassy site next to the camp kitchen. It rained lightly that night which was okay as we could use the camp kitchen. It was funny to hear the road trains continue through the night although it wasn't intrusive enough to disturb our sleep.Unfortunately it rained more heavily the next morning and we were forced to pack up the trailer wet.We decided to keep going instead of visiting the artesian spa.One thing we hadn't factored in our schedule was the amount of chatting shared with fellow travellers, especially those staying another night. It's a small world - we managed to meet some people with friends that have just bought a house in Tenterfield.
