For our second night at the MVL Hotel we were told we would be staying on the 5th floor. I thought we were being downgraded to cheaper rooms from our first night on the 10th floor. However, it was to be the complete opposite! The 5th floor room was a Balcony Suite Room. First you enter a living room with a traditional floor dining table. There was a mini kitchenette and mini bar area. There was a large flat screen tv facing the long couch and lounge area. Next there was a separate bedroom. Unfortunately it did not have a tv which would be the only complaint of the room. The bathroom was divided into three parts. First there was a small closet style room holding the toilet. This was an electronic toilet with removeable control again. Next the main bathroom had two sections. There was a bathtub to one side of the counter. I thought I didnt have a shower till I noticed a walk in shower cubicle on the other side. The bathroom was stocked with toiletries Made in France again. Like the night before I pulled all the curtains open to see the view. In the morning I awoke from daybreak. I watched the slow sunrise colour the morning sky and glisten on the water. As day broke there was some marine activity on the water and I noticed another naval boat. For such a luxurious room I didnt really get much sleep as I had kept the curtains open and we had an early start again. This was truly an unforgettable hotel and maybe the best I have ever stayed at.
