It is my turn to drive and I don't on top form! I suffer through the just under 2 hours' drive to Playa Giron. Feeling better after a Tukola (Coke equivalent) and some fruit at the casa, we take the road along the Bay of Pigs to Playa Larga. Beautiful ocean but we're a bit disappointed in the lack of propaganda billboards that we expected in the region. We spend a lazy afternoon on the beach in front of the Playa Giron hotel. The lovely lady working at the casa makes us coffee. A nice shandy, some tinned olives (that I bought in Cienfuegos) and a nice dinner and instead of cards, we play a flag guessing game on Inge's phone before going to bed for an early night.
