I WANT A HELICOPTER!!!!
The last four days have been absolutely AMAZING!!! so much to tell but here are the highlights........
VEGAS
After a 7 hr road trip and picking up the final 2 girls for our tour (lovely sisters called cat and Erin who instantly named me dipster) , the fun really began!!!
London- take note, arriving to a bar/ club by the London Underground is no longer acceptable.... My standards are a teeny bit higher...... Here are the steps VEGAS STYLE:
Get all glammed up
Go to a pre- party where you are served pizza and alcohol
Drive down to the local helicopter pad where you are showered with champagne
Board the helicopter and soar through the sky ( with a vin diesel lookalike pilot)
Exit the helicopter and enter the glamest limo you can find
Go for a long ride around the strip (more alcohol onboard naturally)
Get off at Freemont street and dance away while everyone else thinks you're celebrities
Make a fool of yourself at the oh so posh Bellagio Hotel
AND THEN YOU REACH THE NIGHTCLUB!!
But of course the night does not end there...... It just wouldn't be complete without bumping into celebrities in the deserted car park.... Maybe members of Step Up or Got to Dance ( yes it really happened and we got a private dance show in the car park!!!!)
And that was just day one of Vegas..... Day 2 saw us go through all the different themed hotels during the day and a Michael Jackson tribute show during the night ( we were so excited, Lucy had to remind us he was really dead!!!!) ..... The highlight of course was Ryan (the guy from step up doing the best dance routine ever- think we were the only ones cheering on the dancer)
Vegas was brilliant with the only disappointment being missing out on the cheesecake factory!!!!
GRAND CANYON
within a few hours we went from the buzz of Vegas to the serenity of The Grand Canyon....we drove down with a few pit stops inbetween...
HOOVER DAM
ROUTE 66 ( the most quaint route I have ever seen....... Small towns, brick brack shops, mini restaurants, and vegetable crunchy fries- love them!!)
We were still on a high from Vegas so naturally we decided to take a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon...... The views were absolutely beautiful with lots of different shades of colour merging together, so breath taking:))
We then went on to see the sunset at one of the peaks followed by some cocktails in the evening...... Just another normal day for me
The most rewarding day was defo today and will be a highlight for years to come.......I ACTUALLY HIKED DOWN ONE OF THE GRAND CANYON TRAILS!!!! It was most defo a struggle going down but the view at the bottom was so worth it (rightfully called the ooh aah point) , we then followed the rim trail around the actual Grand Canyon ......... Oh and I climbed a tree (with a bit of help from Jade- we were determined to get a pic no matter how much we struggled)
After a tiresome day, we ended it with a Mexican meal and bowling.... Perfect end to the day and for the first time in ages we get to have a lie in- yay!!!
To anyone who hasn't been, defo do the trails at the Grand Canyon ( even if , like me, it is your first hike ever). If I can do it, anyone can xx
Right off to bed now before we head to Utah in the morning
