Left St Augustine this morning in glorious sunshine and blue skies (but extremely cold with temperatures struggling to reach 60 degrees), on route to Hilton Head Island via Savannah. First stop was the Budweiser Brewery just outside of Jacksonville Florida where they offer free brewery tours. We joined the 10:45 am tour where we learnt lots of interesting facts and figures about the number of breweries, bottles, cans, gallons, pints etc which I promptly forgot once I got to the free samples!!!! Got to try 4 different beers and a couple of sips of Ant's as well (as he was driving).

After falling asleep in the car, I woke up to find we had arrived in Savannah where, we spent a couple of hours walking the streets which I expected to be a bit more "southern". It was slightly reminiscent of New Orleans but less seedy. Tomorrow we are hoping to kayak the area around Hilton Head - weather permitting!!
