Another beautiful sunny day in South Carolina (although a little chilly). After a reasonably healthy breakfast of fresh fruit and porridge with fruit and nuts at Starbucks, we set of for a little kayaking. Unfortunately, we chose to ignore the advice of the guy who rented us the kayak and ended up paddling against the wind and the outgoing tide (again!!). It was a little scary and we later found out that they have 8 foot tides in the creek with currents running at 5 - 6 knots!!! No wonder it was hard work. We did see a dolphin and a jelly fish though.

After a quick shower and almost beating Ant at Adventure golf, we found a sports bar that was showing 5 NFL football games at the same time and did $1 beers and vodka for $3!! (and 2 appetizers for $6 which we couldn't resist as we hadn't eaten since breakfast). A walk along the beach to watch the sunset was called for after that. Amazingly, the beach we found not only had clean toilets, swinging benches and rocking chairs, but also had free wi-fi!!! Seriously - on the beach!!!
