Another beautiful sunny day in South Carolina (although a little chilly). After a reasonably healthy breakfast of fresh fruit and porridge with fruit and nuts at Starbucks, we set of for a little kayaking. Unfortunately, we chose to ignore the advice of the guy who rented us the kayak and ended up paddling against the wind and the outgoing tide (again!!). Left St Augustine this morning in glorious sunshine and blue skies (but extremely cold with temperatures struggling to reach 60 degrees), on route to Hilton Head Island via Savannah. First stop was the Budweiser Brewery just outside of Jacksonville Florida where they offer free brewery tours. We joined the 10:45 am tour where we learnt lots of interesting facts and figures about the number of breweries, bottles, cans, gallons, pints etc which I promptly forgot...
