Christmas day was great, Ange and Drew picked us up from Manly and we went to their home in a northern suburb called Castle Hill. We met Anges parents Dot and Pete and all of their siblings and their families. It was really nice to spend Christmas with a family even though it wasn't ours. We couldn't beleive all that we have done this year - last year we were sitting at Dave's Uncle and Aunt in Johannesburg with high aspirations of all the year held in store for us!. Now we were in Australia, looking forward to our final travelling adventure of Japan and then the next adventure of marriage and settling down.
Dot was a phenominal hostess, with a tasty lunch consistig of Chicken, Ham and Turkey, and a dinner that were fresh giant prawns - would the Aussies have it any other way? Anyhow the day was filled with a visit to the park and a friendly game of backyard cricket. The weather held out as well and topped off at the late 20's. Superb day. The hangover the next morning was not the greatest, but we survived with the help of Lucy's Chicken nugget addiction.
So its trips into Sydney to see the sights. We will update before New Year, hope you all had great Christmas Days.
