Paris to Calais - about 3 hours drive. the weather looks good for the day so we should be there in good time. Quite a long trip, but nothing of significance to report. Being Sunday, when we arrive in Calais everything seems to be closed - not even a cafe for some coffee. The ferry port is quiet also - a few cars, a couple of buses is all.
We checked into British customs/border control, had our passports stamped (at LAST, a new stamp in our passports!!).
The ferry trip to Dover is smooth sailing, and soon we catch sight of the white cliffs of Dover.
