Today we leave Greece. Up early at 6am to head for Athens. We fly out at 11am (with EasyJet, so we are approaching this flight with some trepidation after seeing them featured so much on the British show "Airport" - and not always in a good light!!). Today we head across to Argos, the commercial capital of the region. It's about 15km to the north of Nafplion. Today was another day of exploring the local sights (there is so many). After our, by now, obligatory early morning walk followed by a leisurely breakfast, we visit the local War museum. Today we go exploring the city of Nafplion and the surrounding areas. Starting from our hotel at 8am its a pleasant stroll along the port road, past numerous bars/cafes. We headed out to the lighthouse to get a better view of Bourtzi Island and its fort. Along the way there are numerous people out fishing (the bay is reputed to be one of the most fertile bodies of water in Greece). The air is cold and crisp, and the water dead calm.
