As East as you can go . . . . 31st May 2012 The sun is shining on us and Byron Bay so it is time to get hiking. The plan is to do the 6.5km round trip from the caravan part to Cape Byron Lighthouse and back. A misty ride down to the sea. - 29th May 2012 The two nights in the cabin in Tenterfield paid off, Trish was able to get her lurgi under control and as there was misty rain on departure morning there was no wet pack up. It is finally time to leave the heights of the Great Dividing Range and head down to the coast. Tamworth to Tenterfield NSW: Monday 28 May 2012 Dave and I packed up our Tamworth tent in cold sunshine, and headed off up the New England Highway, after Dave had programmed the GPS to find all the "Bigs" on the way. Nundle, Carroll and Gunnedah - 26th & 27th May It is time to explore out of Tamworth. Our first day trip is to the small town of Nundle. This was a nice easy ride through rolling hills, cattle grazing and plenty of horses running free.
