Ok Elvis isn't really alive but we had a great time looking around his house.
We arrived in Memphis on a Saturday so it would have been a shame not to have gone out. Memphis has a good night life so we joined in. The main place to go is Beale street, the street is closed off to cars so everyone drinks in the street. We went to the Hard Rock Cafe for dinner then went to a bar that had an Elvis impersonator, he was really good!! After that we ended up in the Coyote Ugly bar, it was brilliant as you can dance on the bar!! Rachel and Laura danced on the bar Emma took photos!! It was a great night.
The next day we went on tour of Memphis. We went to the famous Peabody Hotel where twice a day they have ducks come down from their penthouse suite, walk along the red carpet and jump into the pond which is in the lobby of the hotel!! We then had lunch on Beale street before getting back on the bus and going to Graceland!!!
We went on a tour of Graceland, you listen to a headset and it tells you information about all the rooms. It was fantastic, his house is amazing and it is set up just how he had it. You aren't allowed upstairs, but the week before some crazy women had got upstairs into Elvis' bedroom and then claimed that she was married to Elvis!! Outside there is a memorial garden it has Elvis' grave, his mothers and Fathers and his Grandmas. There are flowers delivered most days, some peope were crying around the graves, we didn't! After the house we went to the car museum, Elvis had some nice cars and a lot of them!! He also had two planes which we went inside and had a look around. It must to have been coo to have all this stuff at a such a young age!! The whole Graceland experience was fantastic!!
Next stop Atlanta
