Our first day in Washington and we went to the White house, our hostel wasn't that far from it so we walked there. We along with hundreds of other people took lots of photos. You used to be able to go on tours round the White house but now you can't which is a shame. Emma tried zooming in on one of the bedrooms but it didn't come out very well!!

After that we went to the Washington Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial and the Mirror lake, the whole time we were looking at these things we just kept thinking of films they had been in!! One of the main films was Forrest Gump!! We then waliked to the Capitol before going back to our hostel for the night.

The next day we went to the Jefferson Memorial, it is a very impressive building. We also visited the Korean war memorial. The statues are really life like. We then walked to the opposite end of the mall and went to the Air and Space museum. They had some of the first lanes ever built there so it was really good to see how planes have evolved. They also had lots of space equipment they had used over the years.

Our final mission was to go to the Pentagon, we got the train there but that is as far as we got!! You can't even walk around it!! Defeateed we got back on the train and tried to find the FBI building we couldn't!! So we spent the rest of the day relaxing!!
