Spent four days in the town on Campeche, which sits on the West coast of the Gulf of Mexico.

A world heritage site with stunning pastel coloured buildings, great sea views, great restaurant, pub and nightlife

Stayed two nights in a hostel that was so hot we couldn´t sleep, so we chickened out and booked into a nice hotel with air-con....sometimes you just have to give in.

Dave gradually recovered from his ankle injury to properly explore the town which included taking in some quality museums and just generally chilling out, eating great Mexican food and a beer or two.

Heading back to Merida for a pit-stop then off to West Yucatan and Quintana Roo state (great name eh)
