The next day we went on another road trip to a place we saw on the map called Cape Disappointment! That’s a great idea, so much so that Nate and I were actually quite excited! Not realizing that it was 4 hours drive, back down towards Portland, and again the weather hadn’t cleared up at all. Great idea lads, good thinking! We got there, couldn’t see anything, apart from the coolest picture with the sign then had to drive all the way back. What a crappy stupid idea that was, but the photo is classic!

That day was generally the most disappointing day since I had been gone, it really lived up to expectations. Was such a long drive, we got back at around 10pm and I was cream crackered, fish and chips, followed by bed. But what a sleep, I love this hostel the beds are so comfortable, and fresh fish and chips was also a plus.
