So today was suppose to be hiking day but the weather took a turn for the worse unfortunately. So I took the car and travelled around the lakes one by one searching for some good photos... this was after Yana filled me up with the greatest Bacon and sausage sandwich ever!

So first was Derwent water, followed by Buttermere, Ullswater and finally Conniston. And they are rediculously gorgeous, even with the overcast weather. There was a mist over a lot of the waters but it was so quiet. So tranquil, great for chilling out, and thats exactly what I did all day, from 9am to 8pm, what a brilliant day. I can see how Tolkein got inspired up here, with the mist that came over the mountain I was climbing at one time, completely engulfing my position... just like the misty mountain in lotr. Why go to New Zealand when we have everything the same right here. GO LAKES! I am converted....
