The third and final day arrived and we all awoke at the right time - didn't we Matt?Well most of us did anyhow, and after another hearty breakfast we kept it local and climbed Orrest Head. Now this is nothing compared to the Gable or Scarfell etc… but it is not to be overlooked. So today my Uncle took me to see the Wild Red squirrels, and low and behold, I got the best picture of one. I can't remember the last time I saw Red Squirrels. After that it was a trip to the middle of nowhere to search for Eagles. Now this really was the middle of nowhere. But so tranquil and gorgeous, it was like heaven on earth. So today was suppose to be hiking day but the weather took a turn for the worse unfortunately. So I took the car and travelled around the lakes one by one searching for some good photos... this was after Yana filled me up with the greatest Bacon and sausage sandwich ever! So first was Derwent water, followed by Buttermere, Ullswater and finally Conniston. And they are rediculously gorgeous, even with the overcast weather. There was a mist over a lot of the water...
