So we have been in Phi Phi for a couple of days now - and if I said amazing - I would be under exaggerating - its simply gorgeous. Sharing a nice - non Phuket - room with Shannon and Danny. We got in so late we had to wake up the whole resort to get in.. so embarrassing! And we actually have a flushing toilet - so exciting! And people say I am materialistic! We are actually on the Phi Phi Don Island which is sparsely inhabited, but with enough to do to keep ourselves occupied, the beach on one side is a bit shabby, but the other side is gorgeous, and there are little bays around the island that are gorgeous. We have hired a longboat for the day today and have sailed to Phi Phi Ley - where the Beach film was set - honestly - bit of a let down - full of boats - tourists, and honestly not as spectacular as it was made out to be. However still the cliffs that encases the beach are breathtaking. We have also snorkelled around this area and the wildlife is pretty good - but nothing on Fiji! Last stop for the day was monkey beach after 4 hours with the longboat. Now this is a nice beach. Danny got the prize for looking the most like a monkey! Shannon went on to fall in love with the French football team that appeared just after us…And we swam and chilled out most of the day.. This is defiantly the life - chilling, drinking coconut milk and listening to the pod!So night came and we got back to the port, got ourselves ready for a night of drinking and watching the fire dancers. Now this was a highlight - my god they were amazing and so f***ed up too, one even didn't notice that his hair was alight at one point! Stu went off to find him some lady loving - but got a little too drunk, Danny and I chilled there watching the world pass by and fire, that seemed to get closer to the audience every hour passed. Sensational though. Tomorrow just to let you know - we are mostly eating fish, and chilling by the pool! Ha - jealous…? P.s. never eat Pizza in Thail
