So we hired the crappiest little car you could ever hope to hire, and headed out to see the sights, first on the list Newport Beach. It really is like on the TV show, the houses are huge and worth millions. Lots of them are private communities too so we couldn't drive up them. But Around Newport, Laguna and Balboa the beaches are gorgeous. Not the same as Fijian, or Australian Beaches they seem different. The sand is different and obviously you have the undisputable sign of California, with high Palm Trees and lifeguard towers all down the beach. It really is gorgeous down here though, south of LA.

Some of the cars and houses we saw were astronomical! Astons, Range Rovers, Bentleys everywhere. There really is alot of money down here. All the Beach areas are gorgeous, even in Winter - gives a whole new perspective on LA with Venice and Muscle Beaches all being quite crap in comparison to these! We went out for dinner here as well, and it really is posh, definately the nicer parts of LA.

Nils also took me around his local area and film scholl which was very interesting, like a smaller version of Hollywood, in a school! His mates are also pretty cool, and the area is just gorgeous! Lucky biy Nils Lucky Boy.
