Saw a Kiwi bird at the Otorohanga park and they were alot bigger than we thought they would be - they are about the size of our dog Chip and run in a really funny fashion.

We decided to book the black water rafting through the caves in waitomo for tuesday, there was only the two of us on the tour group so it was a really intimate guide. it was really good and again wet (they make you waer wetsuits as teh water is so cold you would get hypothermia. We have some pictures to download of the ride and yes our bums do look big in the floating rings that you jumped of ledges backwards in to the water with to float through the caves and look up at the glowing poo sacks of worms.
