On the way through from Picton it was raining hard so we bypassed Blenheim. We encountered some sheep being moved by road so we were stuck amongst them for a few minutes whilst the farmers in landrovers moved them along. There were seals to view along the road so we had to stop and have a look and boy do they smell of fish! Stayed in a really nice campsite and went Whale watching for Sperm Whales, it was good and we saw 9 whales close up although in the pictures they just look like blobs. We've done quite a bit of walking over the last few days as there are coastal walkways by the seal colony and the lengths are deceptive - especially when you decide to come back along the shore instead of the paths, poor darren's legs are wearing out but he has been eating like a trooper to make up for it. Saw a little lamb that was only a couple of hours old and it looked really diddy compared to the others.
