Lovely day again although the programme said there was a 60% chance of showers in the afternoon. Excellent guide today. When the tour was finished we could go back to the boat or skip going back for lunch and get picked up at 3pm. We decided on the latter. First thing we did was get a "bier" und ein "eischokolatte". We were so full after that we decided not to bother going for a meal and just have a sandwich later before returning to the boat. It was really hot. 26 in the morning and 33 later. We didn't want to trail shops so decided to visit the toy museum instead. What a fantastic place. Toys I remember playing with at friends houses in my childhood and also toys I remember buying for Krystina and Paul like My Little Pony and Masters of the Universe. Another plus. It was cool inside. Back on board now. Mid cruise gala dinner tonight. It is nearly four and I haven't even had a single wine or cocktail yet today. Going up to sort that out now.

Sipping a champagne cocktail while watching us going into one of the REALLY deep locks. Decided to have another while in the lock and might even have a third when we are sailing out of it. Sounds like a good plan.

Gala dinner was terrific. Hope I still have the energy to dance this evening.

Danced all evening. Lots more people up dancing than usual. But it was so hot. My makeup was melting! Went out at 2330 for a breath of air before bed and ended up being bitten.
