Jusy a very quick note to you all. I have arrived in Sydney safe and well, actaually got here 3 days ago but I have been laying low trying to shake this illness of mine, just been feeling a tad rough lately, think the travel and not settling in one place for more then 2 days at a time hasnt hepled. Still, im a lot better now. I am staying at a mates parents house, home food, bed, shower....you have no idea how good this feels. First impressions of Sydney? A splash of london, followed by a sprinkling of america throw in some clean streets, sunshine and half the population of london (if that) and you have Sydney. I have some things lined up that I want to do soon and I should hopefully be working within the next couple of weeks, been busy sorting out tax file numbers, cv's etc etc since I got here, very boring!! not missed that kind of stuff AT ALL!

UPDATE:

Well a lot has happened since I got here, a lot of things have been sorted with regards to me getting ready to work, bank acc*** done, tax file number got, now all I need is a job, the market here is very bad right now, firms are holding on to what money they have for fear of a credit crunch like back home so that means they are not taking the risk of employing new people. A big design firm last week got rid of 140 of their 160 staff "just in case" of a hit, crazy! So, I have moved my search for work further out to Melbourne and Perth for now, and want to know something funny? I could have a job sorted in New Zealand through a mate (Paul White) who is currently over there, so a move there for a few months wouldnt be out of the question, I could just head back to Aus around the time I was looking to head east and travel, so stay tuned, my next blog could be from New Zealand, ha ha. I will have some photos up this weekend hopefully, we are all heading out tonight for someones birthday so i shall be armed with my camera ready to snap away!
