Sun, sand, drinks and an all round good time, I have reached Byron Bay! I got here 2 days ago and straight away you get the feel of something good happening here and I wasnt let down. Im staying at a hostel (my first hostel experience) and its awesome, people just want to party here all the dam time which is great but im getting a bit tired from it all, its hard work, haha. Im sharing a room with 3 other guys, Jason (Aus), Mikey (uk) Andreas (Austria), as soon as I opened the door to the room I got the whiff of staleness thrown right into my face, yep hostel life has come to meet me. If I were to compare anything to this, i'd say its like being at uni but with the added bonus of not having to study a thing :-) Tonight is my last night here in Byron and my next stop is Brisbane where I intend on finding some kind of fruit picking work to earn a few $$, so fingers crossed for that one. Not a huge huge amount has happened here really, its just so laid back everyone just chills, the fact that the hostel is actually 20 seconds from the beach is also great so its real easy to go for a dip or sunbathe for a bit, i have actually just got back from the beach so no doubt tonight i'll be glowing red because of the sun.
