We couldn't miss out the last of the three islands that we had been travelling around, even though we had heard it wasn't that great. Koh Samui is much bigger than the other two, and so much more touristy, having a similar vibe to a tacky spanish holiday resort!! It was full of tacky shops with a dodgy side street of bars full of prostitutes and lady-boys prowling for western guys!! It was gross! It was a shame as the beach there was actually really lovely, so we spent most of the time on there catching our last bit of sun before we headed over to the other coast of Thailand where it is currently monsoon season!! We only spent two nights on Koh Samui, before heading out because another thing that doesnt seem to work in Thailand is cashpoints!! Running low on cash we made a mad dash for the mainland to restock our funds!! xxx
