We got off the overnight train in Xi'an at about 6am which was nice! It was good fun! I had top bunk opposite Donna and Danny had middle bunk opposite Mark. It was good we chatted and played games and watched Borat which Dong Chi LOVES! So funny when he quotes it! Slept ok but very cold as the air con was just above our head! We then went shopping in Xi'an to try to get out bearings and then all went out for tea. The next day we were up early to see the Terracotta Warriors. These were amazing. Only one has been found in tact all the others have to be restored. This takes between 8-10 months each one! Very painstaking but worth it! We then hired bikes when we got back and rode around the city wall (the onlky fully intact City wall in China) this was good fun but hard on the thighs (again). The next morning we boarded our second overnight train to get to Chengdu - this time it wasn't so much fun and I ended up catching a cold as the air con was really harsh and the sheets and things were really dirty. Dan's sheets had blood on them - the sleeping bag liners came in handy! We arrived in Chengdu early 5am.
