Our first full day in Vegas was HOT!!! It was 42C, but at least there was no humidity.
We walked a fair length of the Strip stopping to look at all the magnificent hotel lobby's. They all have different themes and each is well worth a look. We took a trip up the imitation Eiffel Tower and got some great views and plenty of good photos from the viewing platform at the top. Vegas is nowhere near as glamorous during the daylight, but there were still lots of tourists out and about, having a gamble and shopping busily. We lunched at the French restaurant near the Tower, enjoying some great food and drinks while watching the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas Boulevade.
Our tickets for the Elton John concert were available from the box office at Caesars Palace and so we got those and then caught the Monorail back to our hotel. It was so easy to spend the entire day just wandering and looking!
Had another walk later when the sun went down to get some photos of the lights.
