Set out for more exploring this morning, stopping for a light breakfast at one of the numerous cafés in the area and then used the last day of our 3 day bus pass to head down to the start of Route 66 to check out the roads before we leave tomorrow! There was no free brekky this morning and so we headed across the road to a 2 story McDonalds for some nourishing, fast food - actually the scrambled eggs I had and Mumsie's pancakes were pretty good! Had a very ordinary breakfast and then decided to move into the city proper to a motel Katie (I can Google anything) had found for us online - a Best Western Hotel, it has free parking and is in a good location but as with all city accommodation it is a bit more expensive! The heavy fog we encountered on the way here last night and which was still a pea souper when we went to bed, had lifted this morning and we took a drive down to the shore of Lake Michigan for a look. Sheboygan is a pretty place with nice parks along the water and a largish river running through the centre of the town.
