Transit day. Up early and organized and Hubert dropped us at MoBay airport at 8 am for our 10am flight to Grand Cayman and then onto Havana. We will really miss Scarlett Hall and Hubie as over the last week we have really got to feel part of the village - it has been an amazing experience
Looking forward to Cuba now and what we expect will be quite a different set of experiences. Not sure if Internet and mobile phone coverage will be much good there so the blog might be on hold for sometime.
So this blog from Grand Cayman airport could be the last for a while
Well a pleasant surprise the Hotel Nacional has wifi sort of so contact with the rest of world continues for the time being (though no mobile phone use as Telstra has no agreement with Cuba)
Arrived in Havana at 3.20 - 1.5 hours to get luggage and over 1 hour in hotel check in queue - nothing happens quickly in Cuba. What we have seen so far we love. The hotel is great and walking the streets easy. Will walk into the old town tomorrow along the seafront wall

Judy Stafford Caught up with Josh tonight and heard snippets of Cuba. Whole trip sounds amazing, especially with Hubert in his village. Loved the photos and do not recall Alan looking so bad when snorkelling! Looks like the Magic Cave mirror did the trick!
