Continued our long day/night flight and arrived at our hotel in Rio de Janiero at about 4pm. We were well situated, on the headland with 5 min walk to Ipanema Beach and about 10 min walk to Copocobana Beach. After we checked in we went for a wander, then returned, showered, changed and went to dinner at a seafood restaurant on Ipanema Beach. We tried some local Brazilian fare - yum.
Turned in early for an early start the next day.
