Had a very much need sleep in . . . Set out walking about 10.30am. Then caught a taxi to Recoleta Cemetery - where Eva Peron (Evita) is buried. The cemetery is quite a tourist attraction, not only to visit the grave of Eva Peron, but also to see the huge moussoleums, and edifices - some dating back to the 1800's. Arrived at the hotel in Buenos Aires about 12md. Checked in then went walking for about 4 hours. Nearly every street we walked down had repairs being done on the road or footpath - dug up with barricades - or badly in need of repair. There were lots of beautiful old buildings closed up, and also in bad repair and dirty - appear to have been closed for a long time with shutters and grills covering the entrances. Picked up at 7.45am for a tour to the Brazilian side of the falls. Again more Columbian's on the tour, but also a Swedish couple who could spoke English. We had to go through the double border crossing again, same as previous night. Our guide said that in busy times can take up to an hour at each point. We were picked up at 7.40am to do a tour of the Argentinian side of the falls. We joined a tour of mainly Columbians - we were the only English speaking. They were very friendly and we all tried hard to communicate. After entering the park, two separate trolley trains take you to the top of the falls. Up early for a 5am flight. Arrived at our hotel in Iguazu at 8am. What a beautiful place and setting - in the jungle right on the river's edge, and Brazil across the river. We were upgraded to a Superior Suite, with a spa bath and a balcony with a jungle outlook. We had a much needed snooze, then Ron went to the gym, and then we relaxed by the pool for the afternoon.
