Sad to of left Lauterbrunnen :(. It was a nice short bus ride to Lucerne - about 1.5 hours. Hostel checkin wasn't until 4pm so a group of us left to check out the town.

First saw the Loin monument dedicated to the Swiss soldiers who past away in the French revolution. Funny fact: the guy who made it wasn't given the money that was promised so he slashed a pig outline around the Loin lol.

Next went to the market - unfortunately it was closing up but Brennin and I are lucky and will get to see it on Tuesday. Checked out the old bridge which was beautiful and decked out with flowers. There were swans everywhere!

That night we went to dinner with some of the people on busabout. I had amazing cheese fondue- I could eat it all the time if only it wasn't so pricey !!!

Walked the Lucerne lake at night which was pretty and of course had some ice cream ! The cookies flavor is so delicious.
