Kaikoura is a little town right by the sea. We travelled here from Christchurch as it is on the way up to the North Island. When we got there our driver took us to an amazing seal colony and there was even a little cub. The views across the town were pretty special from the look out we visited. We were then dropped off at our hostel funnily named "The Lazy Shag." Us girls wandered into the town and did a spot of shopping. Laura is a bit obssessed with Paua Shell and luckily enough there was a factory shop that sold oodles of necklaces and rings etc. Pembo and I did a spot of shopping and then decided that we deserved a cuppa coffee. (we were passing time really in this slightly strange but very friendly place) That evening we went out for food and then had an early night as we were onthe bus early the next morning again. I do like NZ but I'm sure this blog is really boring to you!
