Yes, it's true. The hair is gone. I had 12 inches to donate to make wigs for kids who have cancer! It means that there are very few inches left on my head :) Photos to come. In more exciting news, we've booked campsites for Kruger National Park in South Africa. And I also booked a HOT-AIR BALLOON SAFARI!! Well, we're awaiting confirmation, but availability shouldn't be an issue. Check out the official Kruger website: http://www.sanparks.org/parks/kruger/ We're staying at Balule and Tamboti (satellite camps in the wilderness) and Satara (main camp), if you want to try and track them down on the site. Or, check out this unofficial site: http://www.krugerpark.co.za/ It gives you a better idea of what the campsites look like. At the Tamboti camp we'll be staying in tents that sit on platforms! We can watch the lions from our tent!! Can you say "once-in-a-lifetime experience"?! Finally, the fun stuff is happening. We've worked so hard, done so much research, and dreamed so many dreams...It's taken a long time, but we've got something to show for all of that work. In other news, Joel twisted his ankle last night, so he's off work today and probably a few more days this week.
