We got the train to Wellington point where We were meeting Mick and Eileen, a couple who are friends with Jayne's mum and dad!!

Eileen met us at the train station and it was straight home for a roast dinner, oh my god it was sooooooooo good!! We had roast pork, roast potatos and vegetables!!

The next morning we were up early so we could spend the day in Brisbane as we only had one day before heading off up the coast!! Eileen is 'Queen of Tourism' so took us on the CAT ferry up the river through Brisbane...

We then headed off around the south bank looking for somewhere to eat, it was really busy as apparently it was Budda's birthday, there were lots of market stalls and decorations everywhere!!

We had lunch at a little cafe by the river then headed off for ice-cream as Eileen showed us around Wellington point!!

The next morning was another early one as we had to be at the train station at 8.30am!!

Before we left, Mick and Eileen cooked us a BIG breakfast and Terry and Joyce joined us. It was so good to be around a different people and we were sorry it was such a flying visit!!

Time to catch the Greyhound bus again!! We headed to Noosa which is a small town up the coast.

The hostel we stayed in was a little out of town so we caught the public bus straight to the beach to chill out and explore. Everything seemed a bit expensive but we could afford a georgous new zealand ice cream.

Then when trying to get the bus home somehow......(it could be Jayne's fault slightly!!) we got the wrong bus and ended up having a free tour around Noosa before we jumped off to try again!!

The evening was spent chatting to some people in our dorm about the Fraser Island trip we were about to go on!!
