After waking up with a very sore head we showerd and got ready for the extremly long drive to byron bay on the Gold Coast...

We set of around midday we was going to stop in Brisbane again but the camper had to be back in 2 days time so me and Bri took it in turns driving while one of us tried to get our heads down in the back but it was pretty impossible as you was thrown all over the place.

So after driving all day and the majority of the night we finally arrieved at Byron bay we parked up over looking the sea and got our heads down only to be rudly woken bay a parking attendant asking if we had stayed overnight but we told him we had just just arrived he checked the engine to see if it was still hot as you can imagine it was so he let us of.

After a few hours kip we got up and went for a swim in the sea it was cold but very refreshing, we had a walk along the beach then headed to get some food.

After eating we headed to broken heads its a short walk up the hill and then you come to the light house which over looks the bay you then have a nice walk down to the view point which over looks the 2 sisters a rock formation out to sea, there we managed to see more whales and dolphins playing in the sea on there way home..

later trhat evening we headed out for a bite to eat before setting of to Sydney as the van had to be back by 10am the next day we still ahd 800k to go so of we set.

We managed to hit sydney around 9 in the morning but it took us a little while to locate the van drop of point but once that was done i phonned my friend Claire who we would be staying with and she came and picked us up it was fantastic to see her again as the last time i saw her was in Cambodia...
