Off to the Rock!
We left our campsite at 8.30 am, the boys were very excited when we saw Mt Connor in the distance as they thought it was Ayers Rock, the same as I did 27 years ago!
We rolled into the Yulara camp ground around 12ish, the Caravan Park was full so we camped in the overflow area which was fine as we had enough water & our solar panels to keep the battery topped up,also it was only $10 per night compared to $50 in the CV Park.
We got set up & had a walk then lunch.
Friends of mine from Avoca,Mick & Mandy Rentsch & their family rolled in & set up next to us. It was great to catch up as they have been doing the same trip as us just in the opposite direction.
Tommy & Mitch were pleased to have some friends to play with, Makayla, Felicity & Charlie are great kids & they all got on well together especially Flick & Tommy
