Today we got up & went for a walk around the Devils Marbles - it is quite amazing how these rocks have taken shape over millions of years.
We took some really great photos here.
By the time we got back to the van it was 11am, we packed up & headed North towards Banka Banka Station.
After a few hours driving we decided to continue past Banka Banka & on towards Longreach Waterhole near Elliott.
We turned off just North off Elliott & followed the dirt track 11km in to the Waterhole. After reading some of the comments on Wiki Camps I was a bit hesitant about taking the van in here as some people had become bogged in the sand & had to be towed out, however we made it without any hassles. The track was quite sandy & corrugated in spots but not as bad as I thought it could be.
We got a few looks by our fellow vanners when we arrived, they mostly had 4x4s & off-road vans & we roll in with our 24ft van
