Today the boys & I went to the National Transport Hall of fame just south of Alice, this place is a must see. There are hundreds of trucks here as well as vintage cars & motorbikes & also the Ghan Museum. We spent 4 hours here but we could have stayed longer. It was great for the boys to learn all about the transport history of the NT & SA, from the early days of Tom Kruse & his mail run out to Oodnadatta & beyond through to the huge road...

We left camp this morning at 9.30 am and made it out to the Stuart Highway and refueled at Erldunda and headed off for Alice Springs. We had a good drive and arrived at the MacDonnell Range Big 4 Caravan late in the afternoon. We set up camp and then had a walk around. They have great facilities here.
