Day 81
Epilogue
Wow - almost 22,000 kilometres in just 80 days. While it wasnt around the world in 80 days, around our great country was and is just as great!
Australia is such a large and diverse country. It's not until you visit each of its corners that you can truely experience it and therefore not just take it for granted.
Some places we absolutely loved, some were ok and we've visited them but they were all experiences that we'll never forget!
Would we do it again??? More like will we do it again! Absolutely in a heartbeat.
Some highlights for mine and some stats:
Kalbarri - simply magnificent! So much to see and do. Our 3 days were not nearly enough. We'll go back definately.
El Questro - absolutely stunning country with a history to match. You simply must visit.
Cape Range National Park - pristine waters, the Ningaloo Reef, whalesharks, marine life abundant and gorges that look out over the coastline.
The whole of Kimberley country in fact was a highlight for us. A place that we had high expectations of and that delivered.
It's a trip that will stay in our minds with fond memories forever.
22000 kilometres traveled as tracked on the GPS driving, hiking, flying and canoeing. It missed about 300k's all up though
20,974 kms driven in the Discovery from the odometer
4,180 litres of fuel used in the Discovery
Thanks for following us and for sharing in the wonders that this country offers us together!
