Well the last 3 days have flown by! Saturday spent the day on beaches in Sydney. Went up to Bondi, Tamara and took the ferry to Manly. Manly was gorgeous, had fish and chips on the beach and did some sunbathing cos it was lovely weather and then did some shopping in rip curl ooops! Got the bus back to Melbourne and met a lovely guy called Max from Oxford. Chatted most of the way to Melbourne and then had breakfast with him on the way to the hostel in a cute cafe...

Staying in Wake Up! Tis a great hostel- thank you clare r for recommending! Spent yesterday wondering around getting a feel for the place. Sydney is great so much happening i can see why people emigrate out here! Went up Pylon Lookout cos didnt want to do the bridge climb and then got a ferry ride around the harbour at dusk. Yesterday went ot Melbourne Gaol (silly spelling!) with some girls i met on tour. Took us nearly an hour to get across the city because we got caught up in a strike! Was hilarious all these ozzie construction workers shouting stuff about the prime minister! Anyway the gaol was really interesting lots of stories of bushrangers and mental women! As we left The Grampians we managed to see some kangaroos! The last two days we have spent hugging the coastline along the Great Ocean road. Spectacular scenery and many stories of shipwrecks! Stayed in another lovely hostel last night. Saw the twelve (7 now) apostles at sunset and it was truly stunning - looks just like the piccie opposite.
