Well the last 3 days have flown by! Saturday spent the day on beaches in Sydney. Went up to Bondi, Tamara and took the ferry to Manly. Manly was gorgeous, had fish and chips on the beach and did some sunbathing cos it was lovely weather and then did some shopping in rip curl ooops! Got the bus back to Melbourne and met a lovely guy called Max from Oxford. Chatted most of the way to Melbourne and then had breakfast with him on the way to the hostel in a cute cafe in south melbourne. Also got a phone call from the durham lot at alumni - wished i was there - buses are not fun! It was raining all day so i met up with elise and some other girls and we headed to st kilda for hot chocolate and cake. Did my laundry (how exciting!) and then we had a bbq courtesy of the hostel. It was fab! Then went for happy hour in the bar which was lethal glasses of wine were 70p and they then put on a comedy night which was great. Went to bed a little tipsy which was silly cos i got up at 6am to get my flight. Got to the airport to find it was delayed by 6 hours... yes 6!..due to bad weather in auckland! So i now dislike airports alot!! In auckland now thankfully but its midnight! Got to get up for another early start tomorrow off to Waitomo caves. Should be fun, cave tubing here i come!
