Got up mega early mainly cos i couldn't sleep(yes clare couldnt sleep!) jet lag was still annoying me. Left melbourne at 7:30am and met two others on my tour so there was only 3 of us which was cute. An american guy called Suresh and a dutch girl called Marlene really nice and we chatted all the way to the mountains! Arrived yesterday evening to the cultural city of Melbourne. Staying in a bit of nasty hostel but it will do! Did some sightseeing today taking the free tram around the centre. Went to Queen Victoria market which was a mix of Oxford' s posh covered market and Camden! Checked out the Yarra river, Captain cooks cottage, Fitzroy gardens, Chinatown and Melbourne Museum which was free to get in to for us cheapskate students!
