8am start this morning and was lead to our boat by the most unfriendliest girl we have come across so far. Devil woman is her name.

We soon set sail along the perfume river - in the rain...again! The trip took us to several tombs and pagoda's and when you have a guide who speaks very little English and doesn't accompany you to some of the sites, we and quite a few others soon lost interest!

We visited Thien Mu Pagoda, Tu Duc tomb and Khai Dinh tomb. Soon it was lunch, hosted by devil woman, we were given cold rice that was stuck together like rock, fried veg, that looked like canned mush and noodles which were just edible - all of this was touched and poked sat on the floor of the now sinking boat whilst devil woman threw about 10 buckets of water out of the window.

In summary, we definitely wouldn't recommend this trip, although it was quite funny!

Another note about Vietnam, getting used to the men hock up and spit all day long is certainly a talent in itself.
