Got picked up at 9.30am by our bus to Hoi An (Should have been 8am, but we're now used to it).
On the way, we stopped half way for some dinner and came across a young boy who collected foreign money - he had more or less ever single currency from around the world! We obviously became suckers and gave him a fiver. He was so chuffed and grateful - it was probably a con, but hey ho!
Hoi An is a beautiful little town which was fortunately not destroyed by the way and it is all mainly little streets and alleyways full of shops and cafes with a river running all the way through the town. Perfect to laze the day away, and the best thing is it's not cold or rainy!
The majority of shops are tailors and you can have your own personal made jackets, coats, suits, dresses, made for less than 15quid - girl heaven!!
We soon arranged to meet up with a Norwegian couple, Julie (pronounced Yulie) and Carl previously when meeting them at Halong Bay. When walking to the riverside we then bumped into Will and Monika who were also on our Halong Bay trip. So the 6 of us went out and had a Halong Bay reunion! It's pretty much like meeting someone in London and then bumping into them in Burnley!
