Checked out this morning but managed to keep our pool cards thankfully, so we spent another day at the pool teaching Dave how to dive and trying to photo a mid air bomb. We were supposed to be picked up at 7pm for our boat to Krabi, but we had to ring them at half past to remind them! We eventually started our next little journey and were taken to the harbour to board out night boat, (we've now done night buses, night planes, night trains and now, night boats!)...

Had an early start this morning as we decided to hire a motorbike and go over to Shark Bay, which is at the bottom of the island to do some snorkeling and hopefully see some sharks! We were told it was just one road and that it would be easy to find, however after finding ourselves going 'offroad', down steep sandy hills where we had to then physically push our pathetic scooter up the hills as it wasn't powerful enough to make it up! We eventually found Shark Bay...

We again spent time by the pool and snorkelling in the sea. With nothing much to do when trying to avoid the ridiculously hot sun, we held a competition of who can hold their breath and stay underwater for the longest - Dave can do an impressive 1minute 50seconds and Claire could only manage 1minute 20seconds...better luck next time! Spent most of the day switching between the pool and the shade as it just unbelievably hot! We did however have 10mins of heavy rain which was really nice, but this was then followed by an even hotter sun after! In the evening with not much money to spend we went to a bar and watched City of Men before heading back for an early night.

We struggled to get up this morning as were still catching up from our 'sleeper-bus'. Hard work is being a traveller ;0) When we did surface we the saw the rest of the morning snorkelling round the beach and playing in the pool. We had tea at a Thai restaurant which serves the best Thai food, but also serves it really slowly.
