Day 10 - We went to the Zoo!! Yaaay!

We walked out to the Zoo today which was a very long walk!! It took us a hour and a half to get there, given we did get lost and also nipped in by a Cathedral called St vitus which was built in 930. It was gorgeous! Very much like the Notre Dame that we saw in Paris. Then we walked through some residential areas and a beautiful park with a lake. Being in Prague, you notice that every building is detailed and very pretty. We finally got the Zoo!

Zoo times - We saw polar bears and lions and tigers and leopards and hyenas and elephants and giraffes and penguins and seals and flamingos and rhinos and Buffaloes and bisons and monkeys and gorillas and snakes and fishy things and crocodiles but NO SLOTHS. Absolutely devastated.. I was so excited cause their website said they had sloths. We also went on a chair o plane ride down a massive embankment to a different part of the zoo (check Beccas Instagram for pic) I was not happy! It was an amazing zoo and a great day out in the sun. After 5 hours, we gave up and got the bus back to the hostel.

Night Time- We went for a lovely Italian meal just so we could compare to the proper Italian meals we will be having by the end of the week. Then we went for a wander round the city to see all the sights. Again, Prague is a gorgeous city which can be sometimes overwhelming when your trying to read a map to see a palace but there's like ten in the space of a mile. We saw the astronomical clock and the square around it. We went round some shops and looked at some jewellery and stuff and then decided to go home. Berlin had taken its toll and we were so tired.
